Musical Director - Cheri Danner

Cheri Danner has been a member of Sweet Adelines for more than 25 years.  Cheri is a certified director who loves sharing her expertise as a teacher and coach for both choruses and quartets throughout the four state region.  She is a member of the Region 14’s Music Faculty and also has been a member of several award-winning quartets.  She’s proud of her two regional quartet championships but even more proud to direct the fabulous Virginia Coast Chorus.

Artistic Director - Denise Martin

Along with her Artistic Director duties, Denise is the Tenor Section Leader and currently sings Tenor in a competitive quartet, Fire & Ice. Denise was first exposed to barbershop in 1981 by her husband, Joe, (thank goodness) and has loved it ever since. And, while serving as VCC's Interim Director, she won the 2011 Novice Director Award!

Always high energy, and with perfect pitch, is a Baritone extraordinaire.  And if that wasn't enough, she runs  marathons in her spare time!

Joyce Glover

Joyce is a breast cancer survivor and is a testament to the power of music and friendship. She is also the Bass section leader.
